He earned his Master’s degrees in Exercise Science from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1988, and Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1993. His athletic endeavors, academic training and 20 years of clinical experience facilitate a depth of understanding of the performance of the human body and its strengths and weaknesses. Jake’s many years of work with patients ranging from high-performing athletes to seniors with age-related dysfunction make him a well-rounded Physical Therapy clinician with deep empathy for each patient’s unique circumstances, whether it be returning to a sport the patient loves or just helping them regain their function and be able to return to a full life. He brings that wealth of understanding to his work at Total Rehab. Jake is currently a certified full body ART provider, certified Dry Needling provider, ACSM exercise specialist, and a SFMA provider.</p><p>Jake is an avid sports enthusiast, having participated in numerous events such as triathlons, long-distance running, bicycle racing, and snow skiing. He most recently completed the Triple Bypass ride in the mountains of Colorado. Jake also enjoys visiting his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren in California.
